Author CAMILLE AUBRAY in conversation at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan:
Reserve your seats now! Come meet Camille Aubray, author of COOKING FOR PICASSO, the novel that Margaret Atwood called, "A tasty blend of romance, mystery and French cooking" ~@MargaretAtwood on Twitter.
Camille Aubray talks about food, France, art and her adventures on the French Riviera while researching her novel, COOKING FOR PICASSO. Inspired by a true but little-known mysterious interlude in the life of Pablo Picasso, Aubray combines historical figures with her own original, fictional characters, against a backdrop of Provençal culture and its mouth-watering cuisine, and artwork that Pablo Picasso kept for himself for many years.
A story about mothers and daughters, chefs and artists, famous people and the “mere mortals” they fall in love with, COOKING FOR PICASSO is an Indiebound national bestseller and a book group favorite. Film rights were recently optioned by MRC Studios (House of Cards, Ozark, Baby Driver), and the novel has been translated into a dozen languages.
A book signing follows the event.
This event is part of the 92nd Street Y's "Kitchen Arts & Letters" series, in collaboration with the esteemed culinary bookstore, presenting talks with leading authors, chefs, food historians.
